Elizabeth's creative interest in photography began by
discovering that every print was an original, and the darkroom
a haven of creativity.
Also
a watercolor artist with First Place and Best of Show
awards, and as a Jewelry Maker, the allure of Photography
was that it provided freedom to explore her environment.
In
college Elizabeth took many Photography courses along
with Art classes, and usually won first or second place in
juried
shows and student exhibitions for both her Photography
and Painting. Elizabeth's college career resulted in her
entering the Printing, then Advertising industries, where
she was
surrounded by all facets of creativity.
Elizabeth Hall attended
the Maine Photographic Workshop, and studied with Lilo
Raymond and George Tice, learning new darkroom
developing techiques, improved her creative "eye" and
earned high praise from both teachers.
Elizabeth
focused on her photography again upon her purchase of
a Canon EOS-D60. She began shooting product photography
for the advertising agency for which she works, having
the unique opportunity to shoot projects for well
known
clients such as DayRunner, Tropitone, Nyko and other clients.
She also provides wedding Photography for friends, and
Photography for the Independant Music Industry.
You
can see more of her photography in use at Dayrunner.com, Finger
Records.com,

A few words from Elizabeth Hall
on.....
Informal Portraits:
These shots focus on the individual, family members, children
and pets in casual, familiar surroundings. I prefer using
natural light and a photojournalistic style that makes
my clients comfortable. The best photos come from a relaxed
subject. Images are retouched as needed using PhotoShop
and the client is given a CD ROM of all images. The client
can choose to handle printing on their own or I am also
able to provide that service as well.
Product
Photography:
I shoot in a photographic studio in San Clemente, utilizing
seamless backgrounds and appropriate professional studio
lighting to create the images the client wants.
I shoot with a Canon EOS D60 35mm format digital camera,
and
images are loaded directly into an attached laptop computer
for print preparation up to 8x10 at 300 dpi. I'll also
provide PhotoShop color correction, clipping where needed,
and resizing and will provide all images on CD ROM. Please
call (949)
510.7239 to
get an estimate for your project.
Landscapes:
I focus on discovering natural patterns of light and
color in nature. Trained in black and white photography,
I am
fascinated by the interaction of light among objects. All
my photos are available as custom prints or for stock photography
usage. I will also shoot to fit your needs. Please call
for more information.
Weddings:
I
do not provide "Packages".
These are expensive and costly. Instead, I am available
to shoot your wedding
at any location and will dedicate the entire day to your
wedding, shooting from early in the morning until I am
no longer needed. My hourly rate is $150, and all images
will be provided to the couple on CD ROM's. At this point,
you may choose to handle the printing, but I provide those
services, as well as photo retouching and creating your
wedding album as well. You choose how much you want to
spend and I will work with you within your budget. Please
call me and we can discuss your needs.
